Dr.N.Balaji is my Dept H.O.D informed us to go TCE for FOSS Day Celebration which is been started on 2008 , by Ashwin . Today me and My Friends , Junior and Senior were there in the College .
Why we were there ?
FOSS is the Key Reason why i was there . joe Steve lectured about Free Software and why and what ? , Totally that thing was Cool ! and i was very happy to hear his lecture .
What we learnt there ?
I Learnt a Lot for sure , and we meet Mohammad Kasim is an IIT BOMBAY staff who is currently organizing the project in Tamil Nadu (his Project : Iterating to every college and Campaigning about the FOSS ) .
Software's we came to Know :
1.Drupal - CMS
2.Joomla - CMS
3.Django - Python
4.Moodle - CMS
5.Emacs - Text Editor
6.Vi , nano, Kword , Bluefish , Eclipse - IDE come TextEditor
7.Networking area lan connections and etc ..
8.Fun Zone - Media players,Compiz,Blender,Use C to do Graphics image ...
9.Open Stack - Cloud PAAS - Platform as a Service
10.TOSS 3 released and etc ..
11.Forgot to say PHP,Jquery,AJAX
In my college when ever we meet some problems we will be working in c,c++ or Java . The Guys in TCE were Cool ! and saying we can solve these problems in Python simple .
After all we all enjoyed there in a College , Complete awesomeness .
